- 250 g wheat flour
- 15 g baking soda
- 35 g sugar
- 1 pinch flake salt
- 7 g ground cardamom
- 4 dl buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- Butter for cooking
Method
Mix flour, baking soda, sugar, salt, and cardamom in a bowl.
Whisk in the buttermilk little by little until you get a smooth batter.
Add one egg at a time and whisk again. Chill the batter for 15 minutes.
Heat a waffle iron and brush it with butter. Add batter and cook until golden.
Serve the waffles with powdered sugar and strawberry jam.
