Claire’s Mother’s Waffles
- 3 extra large eggs, seperated
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 3 cups buttermilk
- 5 tablespoons melted butter
Method
Combine egg yolks and sour cream. Add flour and baking soda. Stir in buttermilk one cup at a time along with the melted butter.
Beat egg whites untill peaks and fold into batter. Bake in belgian waffle maker.
