Mom’s Waffles
- 200 g / 3 dl flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 40 g / 3 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 whipped egg yolks
- 90 g / 1 dl butter or oil
- 300 g / 3 dl milk
- 3 egg whites, stiff peaks
Method
Separate the egg yolks and whites into two different mixing bowls.
Measure and mix all the dry ingredients.
Add the yolks and the oil to the milk and mix.
Beat the egg whites with a mixer until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold in the egg whites. Bake in waffle iron.
