- 500 g flour
- 50 g yeast
- 2,5 dl milk
- 125 g butter
- 3 tbs sugar
- 0,5 tsp cardamom
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
Method
Carefully heat the milk in a pot, add the butter and let it melt till it is around 37-38 degrees.
Add it to the mixing bowl with the yeast and dissolve.
When dissolved add flour and egg. When well mixed, add sugar and salt. Knead with the dough hook for 8 minutes at slow speed.
Let rise for 25 minutes.
Add dough to the table and knead out the air. Make into 12-18 buns. Let rise for another 30 minutes.
Before putting them in the oven give them a quick egg wash.
Bake at 200 degrees for about 12 minutes.
