Potato Buns
- 100g grated potato
- 3 dl warm water
- 50 g yeast
- 35 g melted butter
- 1 egg
- 1 tbs sugar
- 2 tbs oil
- 130g durum
- 410g flour
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 30g sesame seeds
Method
Dissolve the yeast in the water. Add the egg, sugar, oil and durum and mix. Add 1/3 of the flour, salt, potato and sesame seeds. Mix in the rest of the flour. The dough should be sticky.
Let rise for 30 min.
Shape the buns, about 24 of them at around 50g each.
Let rise for 45 min. and give them an egg wash.
Bake at 220 degrees for about 10-15 minutes. Put a cup of water in the oven when turning on the oven.
